I can't say enough amazing things about 3rd & 3rd! I have been dying to try this place for quite some time and am so upset it took me this long to get there! We sat at the bar and the bartender was so friendly and bonus points for remembering my name! He helped us with our dinner & drink choices - all great and honest recommendations. The menu changes often (daily I think) so there's always an element of surprise. I really wanted to try everything tonight but we decided on a few apps and entrees - short rib sopes, lemon salt roasted edamame, warm veggie dip with grilled bread (OMG!), and then the grouper & sweet potato baba ganoush and steak & farro "fried rice" entrees. Everything was great but the warm veggie dip & fried rice stole the show. I definitely have to mention my Hendricks cucumber martini because that deserves a shout out too! I will definitely be back SOON for another meal at 3rd & 3rd - I can't wait!

This is a sweet place. It's got the hidden underground feel going with no sign out front and a building that's barely notable on the outside. However, once inside it's an eclectic and fun atmosphere. Great selection of local beers and awesome food. Live music at night if you like that sort of thing. I'm not a huge fan of Atlantic Ave, so getting off the beaten path a bit is well worth it for 3rd and 3rd!

We've been here before. Food was pricey, but it's convenient to the art walk we participate in. More of a bar than restaurant. The fish portion was ridiculously small on one visit. Service was poor. Just multiple servers making mistakes. The last visit included raw meat on a medium rare burger. Raw and cold. The tables are VERY small to pack people in. There was a dog walking around the restaurant which I believe violates health code. The server kept wanting to take away the plates before we were finished as well. Oddly when trying to get the raw burger re-cooked, she was NO WHERE to be found. We won't be back. Many better places to eat

We have been going to 3rd & 3rd since they opened, and I have been remiss in writing a review. How they can do everything so well is really amazing. It seems most places in Delray that have good food are all about the food and are not so great to just have drinks, and then the places that are more fun for drinks have marginal food. 3rd and 3rd have both, and add on top of that they have live music multiple nights a week as well as a giant Jenga game on the outside back patio. The bartenders have always been great, the many meals we have tried on the ever changing menu are always solid, flavorful and creative. If you are not in the mood to eat, they have great beer, make great drinks, and have a fantastic atmosphere to just sit with friends. Finally, they have by far the best Burger around at a reasonable price. We have paid much more for burgers in Delray and they have never come close to being as good as 3rd & 3rd. Note, service at the bar seems better than table service when they are busy. Great destination, must try if you have not yet!

Excellent little venue with live band and food. I gave it four stars because the menu, I felt was limited. I had the Seared Burger which was very good, good size burger too. I also had the truffle fries that were just as yummy. If your sharing fries get the large, if not small is more than plenty.

Loved this place - off the beaten path for sure. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. Good is top notch. Service was great. Menu changes daily.

In the past few years I've been very happy going to this wonderful restaurant many times. I ordered my regular swiss cheeseburger (without a bun) which I've always loved in the past. Unfortunately the slice of tomato was larger than the burger and although it was ordered medium rare it was medium - dry and grisly. My friend ordered the flat iron steak which was cooked correctly but was 2 small slices and one wedge of cold potato. I was disappointed in the food & wasted money but even more in a great place becoming mediocre.

Great vibe eclectic tasting menu really fun staff-good local crowd. Love the way bar is designed it makes for a really good flow of energy. Quite a variety of locals-as it is tucked away off of Atlantic and off the beaten path so unless you know about it you won't know it's there. We kind of like that!

We stopped at 3rd & 3rd on our way to a karaoke night. We figured we needed to grab a quick bite before getting the party started. We looked on yelp and 3rd & 3rd had pretty good reviews so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated right away by a really sweet girl. The place was loud and lively as it was happy hour. I'm vegetarian and was concerned that their somewhat small menu wouldn't have yummy options for me, but was delighted to see a lentil & kale salad. I went ahead and order that along with the fried Queso and guava kabobs. Wow - the lentils were delicious! So flavorful and filling. The portions are on the smaller side, but luckily our waitress had informed us of this, So I had the guava and cheese to fill me up. I really enjoyed the food. I wish they had a bit more selection but I'm happy with the quality of their ingredients. I will visit again soon as a friend told me they change their menu items regularly.

Nothing special, IMO, but I can see why the hipster/yuppies of Delray love it. It's got an underground feel while retaining a slightly too-classy feel. Redeeming quality, live band that wasn't bad.

This place is amazing! I've lived in Delray Beach for only 2 years and had no idea that this little gem was 3 minutes from my home. JP (Owner), his chefs and his staff are among the friendliest and most talented in 33444. Definitely stop by and see for yourself! - Ken Stephens

Easily identifiable by the green minty color of the building, 3rd & 3rd is a locals' delight; a welcome escape from the bustle and predictability of Atlantic Ave. A good mix of laid-back, vibey and smart-casual; with a choice of high-top and sit-down tables. You can also eat at the U-shaped bar, which showed potential for accelerating towards fun times as the evening progresses. There was a broad range of interesting and creative dishes and the menu seems to change frequently. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our dinner choices: * Asparagus salad with ham and warm, soft boiled egg - a winner * Chicken liver pate - creamy, tasty, just right * Octopus with zucchini noodles and cherry tomatoes (which were so good, they almost stole the show) * Shrimp and chorizo skewer with sweet chili glaze and ginger rice - any slight disappointment at not tasting the ginger was quickly overridden by the delicious combination of tastes and very tender shrimp. * Omelette with crunchy snow peas and salty dry saucisson to cut the richness of the double cream Brie - scrumptious combinations * Chocolate bark - crunchy, and delightful, peppery slices of chocolate Yes, the portions were small, but I'd choose modest and tasty over big and mediocre portions any day. It meant we could explore several dishes and we will definitely be back to enjoy more. Congratulations on bringing unexpected and delicious dining to Delray Beach!

I'm in love with this restaurant. When you first get to the location no sign nothing. It's like your walking into a plain white building that looks closer with a million cars in front of it. The food is great a unique menu that always seems to change from amazing chili cheese fries grilled fish you never know what they'll have on the menu. The restaurant is very homie with couch seating and I believe to recall a fire place. The staff is great young and hip to new ideas and is always welcoming. Sometimes it can be a bit dim but that could be just me. They don't take reservations and the best nights are ways Friday and Saturday if you like to people watch. Attire is defiantly hipster sheik. Casual yet very trendy and fun.

Nice bar but very bad attitude from management. They close at 2 but will force you to finish your drink by 1:45 and very rudely kick clients out before the bar closes. Will never come back to this place again.

A large group of friends went here this past Saturday to celebrate my birthday with lots of drinks. It was fairly crowded when we got there around 10:00pm, but the hostess was really nice and pushed together a couple tables for us. We ended up ordering directly from the bar, as this was easier for everyone to maintain their own tabs. There was a great band that we all really enjoyed. They were a mix between rock and jazz. Basically they played top hits with no vocals. They were great and really added to the atmosphere. While we didn't have any food this time, it all looked delicious and not cheap, but not obnoxiously priced either!

This place was awesome. It looks like a small business building and it was night time so I couldn't make out the color of the building. But if it has about 3 colored lights on the front you're in the right place. I had two girlfriends with me. We each got a different drink. The reason I gave it four stars is each wine that one of my friends ordered was out. The waiter came back about 3 times. But she finally got something. The apple pie drink was very tasty. Not too sweet. It reminded me, and probably is very close to, a hard cider. This place is a tapas bar so we ordered a lot of dishes. Out of them, our favorites were the jars. They're dips out of small mason jars served with bread. The bread is fantastic! It's grilled but with a smokiness. I've never had bread that good. The blue cheese jar was my everything. Scallops were one of the dishes and at 18.00, I'm still trying to justify that one. They were large scallops but the price was a bit high. Skewers were delicious. The hanger steak skewer had an interesting flavor (not bad) but the meat is very tender. They also had tapas style deserts. They're all made by the owners wife. The creme brûlée had a peppermint backdrop. Enough for the three of us to have a couple of bites. It was then that I wished for larger portions. There were also decadent small cookies, and biscotti. I also had an espresso. It could've been warmer but he put milk in it. Nom. They had a small patio in the back. It was cold the night we went but we went out to look around. The train is very close and it did go by but inside I couldn't hear anything. Music. The playlist they had was great. Very chill. We commented on it more than once. Later, an acoustic guitar player and singer came in. It was very soothing. Overall great atmosphere. They have large sofas to sit and relax along with traditional chairs and tables. It's a great place to take a group of friends. I would go again.

The wait staff was great but the place felt more like a bar than nice place to eat. Since the bar is so close to the dining area the eating area felt a bit crowded and loud. The steak frites were delicious. Their take on Bruschetta and drinks were good.

Love this place! This is about as close to a speakeasy as you'll find in Delray Beach. There's no sign out front, and the exterior is fairly non-descript, but once instead, a whole new world opens up. I've been here twice now for Happy Hour and enjoy their pinot grigio at HH prices. Their menu is really good too for both both vegetarians and meat-eaters, but the best thing about this place is the ambiance -- it's dark, shabby chic, with "come-as-you-are" being the attire of choice -- whether that's a dressy work ensemble or jeans and a t-shirt. All are welcome...and the best part is that it seems to be full of locals, so you won't find the tourists on Atlantic stumbling across 3rd & 3rd. Go ahead and find this place, and then belly up and enjoy your evening.

Good food. Great atmosphere. Was educated about IPA and liked it. Had Jai Alai IPA for the first time and like it. Becoming a little more cultured. The menu apparently changes every other day. I had the bbq sandwich and my wife had the pasta di casa . Loved them both. Will come back. Will recommend

Really cool! The bartenders always ask your name and truly make an effort to remember you. The food is exceptional. The menu changes daily so if you've had a great dish before, they may not have it on your next visit - although this works out well, as this forces you to try something else which always ends up being even better than the dish you had the last time. The food isn't cheap but it's such high quality, I don't mind. Happy hour drinks however are a steal! They overheard me asking my dad if he was ok as he doesn't hear well and the music was loud - and without even mentioning, they turned it down for us which was really kind. It's definitely a hole in the wall with no real outdoor area but sometimes after being out in the sun all day, it's kind of nice to have a change of scene.

Hidden gem off the beaten track in funky Delray Beach, well known to locals Sophisticated bar with great beer and food selections Live music from time to time If you eat, try the pate jars - not often seen outside Europe - chicken liver pate with sweet preserve on top served in a small Mason jar with toaster French bread

3rd and 3rd is a bar you have to know you are looking for in order to find it with purpose. Otherwise, you may be stumbling around off the beaten path of Delray and notice it. Having no sign yet, you still would be curious as to what it is. Either way, step inside! The bartenders here are great! I usually get waited on by Erik - he is really friendly and can make you a delicious cocktail from their unique offerings. The spot itself is awesome. If you have been to Sweetwater, it kind of reminds me of that. However, it is much larger. Very laid back, art on the walls that were all created by local artists, comfy couches, and a small patio with corn hole and a giant jenga back there. On weekend evenings you can find people coming in to play live music. Such a chill vibe. What about the food? Freakin' awesome! The menu changes based on what fresh ingredients are available. I have tried the duck confit, escargot skewers, new bedford sea scallops, braised short rib, and the kale salad. I can't complain about a single dish I have eaten. Served small plate style, grab a couple and share with friends. You will not regret finding your way to 3rd and 3rd!

Saturday night May 31 was their last night open for "a while". Management says they are just "taking a break" for some off-season changes and renovation. They have been doing a very good business, and are extremely popular with locals, so it all seems a bit odd. Let's hope they do indeed return.

There is something about this place that I absolutely love. I am not sure if its the people or the decor. During the two times that I visited, I took my place at the bar and had a few drinky drinks. The staff was very friendly and the wait time to get a drink was short. Both Saturday nights, they had a band playing and keeping the fun and friendly mood going. I cannot vouch for the food here. They seem to change it often and prepare things on the spot. However, most of those meals include animal products. For vegetarian and vegans, you just have to ask and they will prepare a vegetable dish. I have just opted for the booze thus far. I will definitely keep this place on my favorite drink hot spots for weekend nights.

A great 3 way: food, wine/beer, ambiance. We loved the exotic burger (cheese grits, pork tenderloin) and the host's patience with our menu deliberation. A fan of 70s Pop Music, even the juke box selections hit home. Will do it again - for a third time at 3rd and 3rd.

Delray's posh Atlantic Avenue is less than a quarter mile from here, but sitting inside the rustic 3rd & 3rd you'll feel like you're hundreds of miles away. Located at NE Third Street and Third Avenue, this comfortable restaurant and bar offers an appealing food and drink menu. It's a relaxing place to unwind after a day at work, and the bar, tables and couches were recently filled with customers of all ages dropping in from both blue and white collar jobs. Many locals and regulars seemed in good attendance. I saw lots of smiles and not a hint of stress on anyone's face. Our waiter Michael was friendly, easy going and knowledgeable. He told us the restaurant has its own smoker in the back for those interested in their authentic barbecue offerings. The simple décor is very inviting, along with the uncommon menu that tells you the kitchen takes its food very seriously. Roasted sea bass, seared scallops, braised short ribs and pan seared chicken are some of the more serious plates offered. An ever changing menu of creative and lighter dishes also sounded very appetizing. I only tried their $13 seared cheddar burger that came with leaf lettuce, onion, tomato and balsamic red onion jam on brioche. An order of truffle fries also helped confirm the kitchen's solid credentials. A good number of craft beers and mixed liquor concoctions made for a tempting drink menu. In the background, music from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd softly filled the room. When you arrive at the corner of 3rd and 3rd they'll be no signs to announce you've reached your destination. Just enter the simple teal building in front of you and get ready to have a relaxing good time.

Servers and bartenders are amazing and friendly- you can tell they love being there BECAUSE the ambiance is so fun and positive. Coolest place. Their frites are the bomb and their meat is always cooked to juicy perfection. More importantly, the bartenders know how to make an AMAZING drink- from a margarita to an old fashioned. It may get a tad loud but who cares....I always have a killer time.

The new chef here is seriously gifted. Every item I've had has been unexpectedly good in some way. Porchetta Sliders, for example, a perfect crunch on the pork belly. Shrimp and chorizo fresh pasta is not to be missed. But the most amazing item may be gnocchi served w "carrot butter" and fennel and herb salad, an inspired combination of chewy, crunchy, silky, tart, sweet, warm and cold. The pub atmosphere is easy to take. Great beers. No pretense. Food that could measure up in any restaurant in Delray, and far beyond. Foodie paradise.

Don't let appearances fool you...3rd and 3rd doesn't look like much on the outside, but you walk in and discover a hip, comfortable, and fun local gem! We live locally, and this is by far my favorite place in Delray Beach! Whether it's a cocktail, meeting some friends, or dinner with relatives, 3rd and 3rd is always an excellent choice. The menu is always changing, but rest assured...anything you order here will be absolutely amazing! The staff is excellent- very courteous and knowledgable- and will help you with whatever you need. The drink menu is amazing! They have a wide variety of craft beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails that are always creative and delicious. The decor is very artistic and makes you feel right at home- great bar, high and low top tables, and comfy couch area. The art on the walls is all from local artists, and is always interesting to look at. I highly recommend this local hotspot to anyone who wants to relax, get off the avenue, eat a great meal, or enjoy a delicious drink.

I have visited this establishment twice now. The bartenders are not intrusive. They are there to guide you in the direction of the proper food and drink. My bartender both times was David. He was always a hand signal away and most importantly, calm and collected. I ordered the chicken liver pâté in a jar. It cost me only 7$ and I did munch on that slowly for several hours. Recently I have had duck liver pâté and my plate had much more of an iron/chemical aftertaste. I talked to the chef at 3rd and 3r; he told me that he cuts that flavour with a considerable amount of brandy. With that being said, my pâté was the best I have ever enjoyed. Sweetness and a very round flavour profile that worked well with the wines I drank. Volador '13, 14 Hands Merlot '12.

Great local vibe just off the beaten path in Delray Beach. Great beer selection and limited but quality food menu. Everyone behind the bar is attentive and have fun personalities if you're looking to kill some time. This and City Oyster are my two favorite places in Delray. If you haven't checked it out yet, don't...we like it the way it is.

The food was surprisingly amazing. I was expecting a good meal but this was unexpected. The portions could have been a little bigger for the main course. That's my only complaint. We had the green salad with pork belly croutons. The shrimp and chorizo skewers. The blue cheese and bacon dip. The fried pickles. The short rib spring roles. To start. Then we closed with the hangar attack, the pork tenderloin, the burger and the braised short rib. Everything was excellent. There was live reggae music and the band was really good. The service was good and the waitstaff very nice and helpful.

In celebration of a 21st birthday, a group of 8 (including myself) headed to 3rd & 3rd at the request of two individuals in our party - they were talking about this place the entire walk over, so we had a little bit of an expectation heading in. We arrived at around 12:15 am on a Saturday/Sunday evening and the place was alive! A big bar to the right immediately as you walked in, surrounded by tables and high tops (taller tables with stools), plus two large couches off to the left with big coffee tables. We snagged a table with 6 chairs and expanded to 8 - nobody seemed to mind. There was a large projection of a live concert on a wall near the couches; the music playing throughout the bar was a great set of Bob Marley classics. Our waitress according to the receipt was Lindsay F., and she was a treat. She knew the two people in our group and greeted them first, then onto the rest of us for our drink orders. Everything came out timely (for a group of 8) and I was really happy with the glass of Malbec that I blindly ordered (it was the Gouguenheim - really smoky, bold, and palate pleasing - if you're a red drinker.) The beer selection was extremely varied and THAT was something to look forward to coming back to alone. After a blitzed group of people vacated one of the large couches, we moved over and found ourselves playing with some of the games that the bar leaves out for patrons to enjoy. I saw dominoes, Uno, a deck of cards, and Jenga.... which had "dares" written on 95% of the small wooden blocks. (In example: "Do a Tarzan call" - "High five a random person" - "Jog around the bar".) As the night was turning to a close in Delray, they gave us last call at around 1:40 am. I paid, went to the restroom, and then left (with my group.) I was saddled with a very happy and positive outlook on 3rd & 3rd; you'll definitely see me coming back to try a few things out. [A quick note: When you guys are doing last call, it's extremely rude to tell patrons to "Get out" if they've already paid & are waiting on others to do the same. I understand it's almost 2 am and you wanna clean up to leave, but don't bite the hand that feeds you - politely remind us that your doors are closing and you'd wonder if we'd be so kind as to step outside and wait for the remainder of our party, as you'd like to clean up a bit. See how easy that was?]

Found this place though a recommendation. Experience was great from opening the front door, meeting our server Sabrina and trying some great dishes. The jars were amazing to start with. Be sure to order extra bread. We have eaten all over Atlantic and this is now one of my favorites.

This place is great if you want a meal of "small plates" food, good beer on tap, and/or a mixed drink. Laid back atmosphere, the bar is becoming a regular hangout for those in the local hospitality industry; it's open later than many places in the downtown area, and the food is really damned good. We had the beef skewers with chimichurri sauce: two skewers with two beautifully cooked hunks of meat on each, resting atop a bed of chimichurri sauce and two crostini on the side. We also had the halloumi plate: beautiful Lebanese style fried cheese with a tomato jam, olives and crostini to assemble. Yum! The menu changes regularly based on seasonality and availability, so make sure you look at the printed menus by the door before you order.

3rd and 3rd is such a cool joint. It must be very new because I don't ever recall seeing this spot even 8 months ago. I love that it's away from the hustle and bustle of Atlantic Ave since it features a low key, local crowd. I had my first sazerac here *a New Orleans fave) and was truly impressed. I wouldn't typically go for a drink like this since it's not as sweet as I'd prefer. Still, it was very good, not alot of fillers really with bourbon as the main star and a slight spicy kick at the end. The bartender took so much care with the drink and generously offered extra lemon oil at the end. Beyond the bar, they offer another loungey area in the space, with couches and a piano for those who'd like to jam out. I'm not sure if they offer live music yet, but it would be such a great addition. I checked out their outside deck with cornhole sets as well. There's not alot of seating, but just a chill area to enjoy with friends. They've accounted for the unpredictable Florida weather too, so once it started to rain, they were quick to cover up the area so patrons could stay outside. The friendly, welcoming staff and clean lively spot will keep me coming back.

But where is the front door? Am I really too old to get that this might be 'cool': No Sign, No Indication of where the Front Door is (there is more than one door out front), No Lights leading you to the right choice. Is it me? Left me feeling foolish before I even got inside. Food: Good not great. Service: Above Par. Hostess: Delightful. She was the shining star of the evening. Parking Lot: Pitch Black.

I love 3rd on 3rd. The ambiance is unlike many of the Atlantic Ave area restaurants. It is cozy and comfortable, not pretentious. The food is delicious, and wine is reasonably priced. The skewers are awesome staples on the menu! I highly recommend 3rd on 3rd for a casual and fun dinner/night out.

I really enjoyed the ambiance this place had to offer. It had a cool artsy vibe feel and packed with people. Music, decor and drinks were all on point. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy my food too much. We had the goat cheese that was poor in execution and quailty compared to other goat cheese dishes I've had. The sea bass dish had a tomato aioli sauce that just didn't mix well with the fish.

I had some out of town friends from the cayman islands and recommended them to your place as I have been there lots of times and loved it. HOWEVER, they got there around 4:30 for some drinks yesterday and the manager said they werent open but they could have a drink at the bar but the bartenders did not like that and told them they should leave as they arent open (even though were people sitting at the bar having drinks already) . This is terrible that this happened and im so embarrassed that they experienced this. I am in shock as I go there so much and always have a great time. Very sad that you treat customers like that.

Our server let us know that the burgers are what they're known for so that's what I had. I can't have bread, so I skipped the brioche, but that's okay because the burger was really really good. I asked for it well done, but it was just slightly under that. The parmesan truffle fries are also pretty good, so be sure to get those. The menu is pretty limited, so don't go there with a picky eater if you don't think they'll like it.

Portions are tiny. We ordered 5 appetizers and each person ordered an entree and we all left hungry. Food is fair at best. Service was good and vibe was cool but food was disappointing.

I love this place! Nice big bar with tons of sitting room. There are also comfy couches and tables you can sit at if you don't like sitting at the bar. They have lots of yummy cocktails to choose from. I had their cucumber martini which was very refreshing. I also ordered the Scallops which were outstanding. Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!!

Prepare to be Hungry Nice presentation, small plates. Very small and overpriced. Good tap beers. For $60+ walked out still hungry. Fortunately great ice cream shop in town.

Meet what is destined to be the business that finally lasts in this spot at 3rd & 3rd. This spot seemed cursed for a time with business after business coming through and none of them really being able to make it. And it's to say this is a bad spot. Sure it is a little hidden but it has ample parking off the busy Ave and the inside has just had a great layout the entire time, spotlighted by the wonderful bar int he middle. Owner and chef JP was finally the one that took this bar full of endless potential and did something great with it. The vibe is modern and maybe even a touch of class when you first walk in but things are incredibly casual there. The bartenders are relaxed in black tees and jeans and when you have a relaxed staff it shows. They are attentive and helpful. The beer selection is quite good with 5 different beers on draft and word is that it is expanding to 10 soon. The rest of the beer is all in cans. This is a nice little quirk to the place with the popularity of craft beer in cans skyrocketing. They also offer a full bar with wine and liquor selections. And with a chef of the quality of JP in charge you must expect great things coming out of the kitchen. My recommendation is go with a few friends, buy a few different dishes and share. The dishes by themselves for one person may be a bit small but with a few people sharing a few dishes will fill up pretty quickly. The burger is seared to perfection, the skewers are mouthwatering and the duck confit is out of this world. Though I haven't had it (yet) more than a couple of my friends have expressed their total satisfaction over the pork sandwich. Prices are a tiny bit high but you are paying for great quality food here. And as I said if you take a few people it makes things better even for your wallet. In the short time that 3rd & 3rd has been open it has already garnered a buzz. Most weekend nights are quite busy with the bar filling up rather quickly. With great food and drinks it's no wonder people are traveling off the Ave to come here.

Fun and creative. This is a bar with great food. Great seating arrangements for small groups. Many small plates, everything our group ordered was tasty. Worth the trip.

Place is great! Small plates that are delicious and not over priced. Their wine list is not marked up very much at all and it's a good place to just have a couple beers too.

A nice little (well it's actually pretty big) out-of-the-way bar. Decent selection of beer (mostly bottled) and wine. They have food but be aware they are tapas sized. I had a couple of skewers (one steak, one chicken). Both were tasty and served with some fried bread. Probably not enough for dinner unless you eat very light (Or have a lot of beer). Others tried the scallops (two large ones seared perfectly), the burger (probably a 4 oz.), and the haloumi (which he liked enough to get another). Our server was right on the ball. Neither too scarce nor overbearing. They have a few couches in addition to the bar and the usual tables and chairs. There's a big screen TV that they at least use sometimes for sports. Overall, a relaxing place for a drink and some appetizers.

I am giving them 5 stars even thought they discontinued the most amazing thing on the menu- cracked corn dip.... I was heartbroken when I saw it is no longer listed. However the atmosphere, service, and other menu items keep this place at 5 stars. You won't know about this place unless someone tells you- it is off the beaten path, which I LOVE! Great place for a date. Although I love the vibe of Atlantic Ave, it is really fun being a few blocks off.

Local & loved the place but out of nowhere they just closed. Guess we need to find someplace else.

I was expecting a lot based on the reviews I read but was disappointed. I get the local vibe and the place is laid back and has a good atmosphere. The service is slow so it took a while to order drinks. Ordered the baby octopus and for $11 you get 2 tiny pieces. Not very good either. Had the cod and short ribs for main courses. The portions are the smallest I have ever seen. I mean the cod was literally thumb size. One maybe two bites and it's done. The short ribs were also small and average. Ridiculous for the prices. Maybe a good happy hour hangout but no reason to dine here.

The food was good but the management was very unreasonable. They asked us to leave halfway thru our dinner because we didn't want to give up our chair for an uncomfortable bench seat. I have never been asked to leave any restaurant in my life. I'm not sure this place will survive with such poor management skills in place . We are a group of 6 professionals . Our waitress was the only shining light!

Was here earlier this month for my Birthday and the hostess was able to accommodate a group of 15 no problem, it was Friday night, and the place was packed. We waited like 20 min at the bar and were very well taken care of by our server. We ordered a bunch of small plates, which was expected but if you have a big appetite it'll take 2 dinners to fill you up. My boyfriend had the burger, it's a good size but it doesn't come with fries so ordered those on the side, I ordered the sea scallops which were delicious. I tried the bacon wrapped shrimp skewers, and steak skewers, very tasty but it's only 2 per plate. We ordered large truffle fries to fill up, these are AMAZING, I would just order a couple of these baskets to start because they are so good. My gf had the beet salad and she said it was o.k., like I said order a couple of things. Now the drinks, I think the names are better then the actual drink, I ordered something lemonade and a ginger vodka cocktail. For finale, I had a warm chocolate cake which came in this little jar, it was heavenly. I will definitely return for a late night bite and maybe give them another chance for cocktails, but Sweetwater has really spoiled me, which is what this place really looks like.

Live in the area...walked over to check this place out with my girl. Didn't go to eat...wanted to have a couple of drinks and chill. This place doesn't know what it wants to be. Floor to ceiling TV had basketball game (which few, if any were watching) which ruined the atmosphere for me...didn't think I was going to a sports-bar. Sat at a table along the wall...overhead spot lights made it feel like a KGB interrogation setup. Beer was cold. Male staff hitting on single females at the bar...one male staff member behind the bar doing shots with the ladies. Nothing here to bring me back.

3.5 stars. We came here on the recommendation of friends and left a little disappointed. The ambiance is good - small local pub off Atlantic Avenue with comely staff and attractive locals. It's possible we came on a bad night, because everyone else seems to love the food here. We ordered six plates - none were terrible, but we were told this was a foodie destination, and it is not. The recipes and preparations are all very expected, and I did not find any surprises here. The food is a little pretentious as a result and just doesn't work for me. All in all, the food was not bad, but I was just let down by very high expectations.

This is my favorite "new" place. Just off the ave. parking right out front. Great wines. Fabulous small plates of food. Excellent service!

What a cool find. A nice little non pretentious little bar restaurant tucked away off the beaten path. The menu changes weekly. The food we tried was delish. Everything from small plates to full dinners. Fresh, clean, different, casual. We shared shrimp &'steak kabobs as all as a beet salad & hummus & cheese plate. Loved everything! Looking forward to going back again.

After spending 2 days on the Atlantic Ave strip in DelRay, found this off the beaten path spot from a friend's recommendation- chillest and best bar/restaurant in town! If you are down to earth, enjoy truly great hospitality, top notch food (foodie food, not bar food) and spontaneous live music, this is your spot. It feels like going to a friend's house more than a bar. The kind of place I will definitely revisit next time I'm in town.

This place has it all!!! We were with friends and by the end of our dinner we decided we weren't going to tell anyone so we could have the place to ourselves ! Go before it gets popular !!!

By far the best place to be in Delray Beach! Great food, huge drink list, awesome staff, and always seems to have a great crowd. There's usually live music playing and has a feel to the place that separates them from other restaurants in town. Picture walking into a big living room with an even bigger bar/restaurant in it. I definitely see it as being a frequent place of ours to go to and hang out.

Great hidden gem. No signage. Walking in the staff was friendly. Small portions but fresh and flavorful.

Don't let the outside of this place influence you, it's kind of plain and I didn't see a sign. Once you are inside, I was surprised. It was very clean and a nice build out. It kind of looks more like a bar that serves food than a restaurant though (maybe that was their intention). The food flavor was fantastic and that will bring me back in the future. Although, If you are looking for a big meal, this is probably not the place for you. The portions are quite small.

What a cute little restaurant/bar tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Would have never known it was there if not for the Delray bus loop. We only drank here but one look at the menu tells me I want to come back and try the food, especially some of the specials.

Went to 3rd and 3rd the first time last night. I like their tapas menu which has some tasty food such as grilled octopus and a spicy veggie dish. For entree, I ordered the seared scallops which I think taste okay (a bit too salty) and is overpriced at $14 for two scallops! My friends' orders seem to have better portion and are more reasonably piced. Overall, the food was decent and the atmosphere is great for happy hour and meeting up with friends.

Cool atmosphere. Really friendly bartenders. We went on a Fri night and enjoyed everything but we were very disappointed with the food. We love the "gastro pub" idea but the flavor and portion size lacks immensly. We came in starving and ready to eat and $75 later, left and was still hungry... We'll definitely go back for drinks but will make sure we eat before hand. Kind of a bummer since everyone raves about this place.

You have to try this place!! Staff is friendly, great atmosphere and the chef is AMAZING!!!! Loved it and we are going back again and again and again. It's a little hard to find but WELL WORTH the search.
